The new digital flagship is a storytelling platform doubling as a highly functional e-commerce site, allowing the brand to weave product and story. With a flexible module system, brand narratives and rich storytelling become the serving mechanism for products.
MCM is a global brand, sold in 478 stores in 35 countries, appealing to the generation of nomadic creatives and digital natives. Their rebellious designs and unexpected styles have always differentiated them from the rest. The new site only furthers that gap by focusing on brand engagement metrics and increasing sales through a growth in conversion and cross-sells.
The digital flagship brings together mobile, digital, and physical for one united brand vision and point of view. New typographic, color, and icon systems were designed, working together to convey the energetic and unapologetic voice of the brand. Cohesive global systems allow for a seamless experience between online shopping and brick-and-mortar.
